Delivery Information
At Frinje, we want your new floor (or sample) to arrive safely, conveniently, and on time. Here’s everything you need to know about our delivery options.
Express Delivery (Full Orders)
- Area: We deliver across the entirety of South Yorkshire.
- Kerbside Delivery: All flooring orders are delivered kerbside. For apartments or properties with restricted access, delivery will be to the kerb only.
- Vehicle Types: Deliveries can be made in a variety of commercial vehicles, including up to 18-tonne lorries. It’s assumed that your property is easily accessible to these vehicles.
- Booking a Date: Choose your preferred delivery date at checkout. Deliveries must be scheduled at least three days after order confirmation.
- Delivery Days & Times: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (excluding bank holidays). Our driver will contact you prior to arrival.
- Cost: £39.99 per order.
- Stock & Timing: Delivery is subject to stock availability. We reserve the right to amend or change delivery times if necessary.
Failed Delivery & Access Issues
If no one is available to accept your delivery, you’ll need to reschedule, and a re-delivery charge will apply. Please ensure the delivery location is accessible for commercial vehicles; narrow roads, restricted parking, or other obstacles may cause delays or additional charges.
We strongly advise against booking installers until your floor has arrived. Regrettably, we cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses due to delivery issues or floors not being properly acclimatised.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged:
- Accept the delivery and sign for it as damaged.
- Contact our Customer Care team to arrange a replacement or refund.
- If damage is discovered after delivery, notify us within 48 hours.
- Provide photos or videos of the damage to process your claim.
- A replacement will be sent on the next available delivery date, or refunds will be processed within 14 days.
You do not need to return damaged goods, please dispose of them safely. Have these ready when contacting us:
- Sales order number
- Contact details
- Photo or video evidence of the damage
Free Samples
- Limit: Up to 4 samples per order.
- Area: South Yorkshire only.
- Cost: Free delivery.
- Courier: Usually Royal Mail Tracked 48 (we reserve the right to change courier).
- Dispatch: Same-day dispatch if ordered before 12pm, Monday–Friday, subject to stock.
- Redelivery: Courier will attempt redelivery according to their guidelines.
